Fr. 248 $2 1896 Silver Certificate Gem New. This piece was previously Lot 302 from the May 1995 Sale of the Shiva Collection where it was also graded Gem. The note has bold, original embossing, excellent centering and fresh, bright color of both the paper and inks. It's an overall lovely example of this classic and very popular design type.Auction Info
