Rwanda Banque Nationale du Rwanda 100 Francs ND (1960-62) Pick 3a PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
An exciting and rare 100 Francs from the first series of notes issued in Rwanda. Overstock of Rwanda-Burundi notes were split between the newly formed separate countries of Burundi and Rwanda until new banknotes were printed and issued. Notice the large, square stamped overprint on the front of this note indicating it is a National Bank of Rwanda issue. This series was short-lived and is rarely seen today. Only brief circulation atop original paper is seen, hence the coveted EPQ status. Definitely scarce in this excellent grade and a sought-after type note.
