40.A handsome Dark Green Seal example, this Chicago $1,000 from the scarcer Series of 1928, has excellent color, just a few light folds, and resides in a comment free third party holder. Also, serial number and Treasury Seal embossing is easily observed on the back of this lightly circulated piece. The last time we offered a PMG 40 DGS Fr. 2210-G in a comment free holder, it realized $5,040 in September 2024.
