Fr. 263 $5 1886 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated
64.Originally intended as a memorial to President Ulysses S. Grant, this note features the popular silver dollar back design as well as the showy large brown spiked Treasury Seal. Printed on bright paper, this example has wonderful color, bold ink, and plenty of eye appeal. The last Fr. 263 that we auctioned in this third party grade was a PCGS 64 example. It realized $10,800 in January 2023.
