Curacao Curacaosche Bank 25 Gulden 1855 Pick A13 PLNA3.3a PMG Very Fine 25.
Part of an incredible complete set of 1855 Gulden banknotes issued in Curacao. This series was printed by Neuman & Muller and features a mix of printed and written notations. In fact, notice the lengthy notation on the back of this banknote, which is actually seen on all examples offered in today's dedicated auction. Only 2,400 banknotes of this denomination were printed and issued. At the time of cataloging, this is the first and only example graded in the PMG Population Report. Extraordinarily rare, this is a note that perhaps may never be seen again in auction. Simply remarkable.
