Straits Settlements Asiatic Banking Corporation, Singapore 100 Dollars ND (ca. 1860s) Pick S78r KNB4 Remainder PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
Second highest denomination of the 1860s series of banknotes issued for British Colonies in Asia. The Asiatic Banking Corporations banknote issuance lifespan was short, and in some cases as brief as two years. It is unclear if any banknotes from this bank were issued in Singapore, or if only remainders, Specimen, and Proofs remain. Rumor has it that only a few sets of denominations were saved, hence the lauded rarity of this type. At the time of writing, this is the first and only example graded in the PMG Population Report. Fully printed, save for the final touches: signatures, date, and serial numbers. Lightened stains are mentioned for accuracy. Part of a fantastic group offered in this auction.

亞西亞國銀行存世時間極短，在某些地方營業時長只有兩年。此為於亞洲的英國殖民地所發行的第二高面額。這家銀行到底有否於新加坡發鈔，抑或只有庫存票、樣票和試印票存世，仍為一大疑問。有傳數套鈔票有幸被保存下來，稀罕程度不可估量。截至編目時，此為PMG數量報告中的孤例。其印刷完備，帶有簽署、日期和序號，隨時可供發行。票面的黃點曾被淡化。為是日拍賣所呈獻的一批亞西亞國銀行珍鈔之一。
