Straits Settlements Asiatic Banking Corporation, Singapore 50 Dollars ND (ca. 1860s) Pick S77r KNB3 Remainder PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
The Asiatic Banking Corporation's reach extended throughout the British Colonies in Southeast Asia. Banknote issuance, with the exception of in Ceylon, was very brief, as capital quickly ran out and paper notes had no backing. This handsome remainder is part of a set offered in auction today that is one of only a few remaining extant. At the time of cataloging, this is the first and only 50 Dollars graded in the PMG Population Report, with no Specimen, Proofs, or issued notes graded. Lightened stains are mentioned for accuracy. The eye appeal is outstanding, with the watermarked paper remaining crisp and all printed ink still bold. The serial numbers, date, and signatures are lacking, as the final touches were not applied. Of the highest degree of rarity from a brief issuer of paper notes in Singapore.

亞西亞國銀行當時的業務遍及東南亞的各個英國殖民地。但除錫蘭外，發鈔時長都因資本枯竭無法支持而極為短暫。這張華美絕倫的庫存票為是日拍賣所呈獻的一批亞西亞國銀行珍鈔之一，存世不過數張。截至編目時，此為PMG數量報告中的唯一一張伍拾員庫存票，未見任何樣票、試印票或流通票曾送評。票面帶有淡化的黃點。此鈔外觀出類拔萃，水印紙依然銳利堅挺，墨印鮮明深峻，不見序號、日期和簽署，可見與正式流通尚差一步。這張新加坡庫存票出自一家存世極短的銀行，稀罕程度無可比擬。
