Low Serial Number 89 Fr. 1950-J $5 1928 Federal Reserve Note.
PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.On the PMG Population Report, this Kansas City district piece is bested by just one example. It is further enhanced by a low serial number 00000089 from the J-A block. The note features well embossed dark green serial numbers and has received PMG's coveted "Exceptional Paper Quality" designation. The last comparable example that we offered bore a low serial number 95 and realized $2,100 in September 2024. Our current offering should easily outperform that winning bid.
