British North Borneo's series of paper notes are sought after by collectors worldwide. The 25 Dollars denomination was the highest of the series, and it is very rare in any grade. For notes bearing this date, only three grade higher in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. Excellent colors and paper quality are seen on this large format example. A minor split is mentioned for accuracy. Mount Kinabalu is portrayed at front center. The final date of the series is seen on this example, which was fully printed and not handwritten. Beautiful and especially rare in this desirable grade.
