China Chung Hwa Republic 100 Dollars ND (ca. 1896) Pick UNL S/M#C262-3 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
The Chung Hwa Republic bond notes of the late 19th century were printed and issued in the USA and Canada to raise money for the revolutionary cause. This 100 Dollar denomination is very rare and seldom seen. Only the third example we have offered of this rare and historic type. A facsimile signature of Sun Yat Sen is seen at front right. Not to be missed, as this denomination is very scarce.
