Beautiful Gem Fr. 1035 Philadelphia $50 FRN
Fr. 1035 $50 1914 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Gem New
66PPQ.A relatively available $50 FRN, but not so in the higher grades with only five pieces graded above the 65 level by the two major services. This widely margined and boldly inked example from the Philadelphia district, which was last on the market in a 2012 auction, displays wonderful color and solid embossing. Last year, we auctioned a PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 65 PPQ note for $6,600.
