53.This is a lovely example of an extremely scarce Friedberg number that is one of just seventeen pieces in the census, none of which have received a grade above AU. In fact, the finest graded to date by PMG was the Tom Flynn collection note, which graded AU 58 and has been off the market since we sold it in 2008. This very lightly handled example closely rivals the Flynn example, and quite possibly will be the finest note for this number to appear on the market for quite some time.
