Fr. 302 $10 1908 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 65
EPQ.For the first time in over a decade, a 65 graded Fr. 302 is crossing the auction block. Very well deserving of the assigned Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ grade from PMG, this gorgeous blue seal Tombstone is making its first ever auction appearance tonight. Only three signature varieties are found throughout the 1908 Series $10 Silvers, and this Gem graded example is one of the highest graded across all three. Taking a look at PMG's latest population report shows that across Fr. 302, Fr. 303, and Fr. 304, only six 66 EPQ grades have been awarded, leaving this beauty tied with five others as second highest graded for the entire 1908 Series. In March of 2024, a Fr. 304 graded PMG 65 EPQ brought over $26,000 at auction, so expect to see a similar realization when the gavel falls on this incredible Silver Certificate.
