Fr. 299 $10 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated
64.The 1891 Series Tombstone Note, honoring Thomas Hendricks, Vice President of the United States who died in office in 1885, features a small red Treasury seal and an "open" back design with more white space, designed to draw attention to the design elements. While not a "top pop" example, this note is well into the upper reaches of PMG Population Report with only 10 of the 299 notes recorded presently being assigned higher grades. It has been over a decade since a 64 last crossed the auction block
