Description
4% Console Bond Coupon of 1907 Hessler X166I. This 50¢ coupon is from the Four Percent Loan of 1907. The coupons were redeemed quarterly with the first payment due in the final quarter of 1879. This Extremely Fine-About Uncirculated coupon has a portrait of William H. Seward and is from a $50 bond of that issue. There is also speculation that coupons from this issue circulated to pay small debts. This coupon is for the fourth quarter of 1884. We have seen a handful of the 50¢ coupons for the $50 bonds over the years and believe this is the nicest coupon we have observed for the bond in question.Auction Info
