Fr. 222 $1 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Superb Gem Unc 67
EPQ.By far the scarcer number of this two note type, this lovely Martha features four broad margins, sharp corners, and strong embossing that attests to its originality. Tied for the finest graded by either of the major services, the PMG label notes that this pretty Ace was once part of The Jupiter Collection in 2008 which was an incredible assemblage of high-grade type notes. It is also the only 67-graded example of this scarce number to have ever appeared at public sale, with its last appearance in our 2015 Central States auction where it brought almost $9,000.
