Rare Series "D" $1 1875 Legal Tender
Fr. 24 $1 1875 Legal Tender PMG Extremely Fine 40.This is one of only 21 serials recorded for this very rare Friedberg number and a note that is easily within the top half dozen for the finest known. A minor ink mark on the face at the left of the portrait is mentioned on the third party label. It is indeed minor and this ace is still a handsome XF note. Last year, we auctioned a repaired PMG Very Fine 35 note for $4,800.
