Fr. 2052-J $20 1928B Federal Reserve Note. PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 69.A near-perfect $20 FRN that last appeared in our 2013 Central States auction where we said: "An exemplary note which is not only the highest graded for the district, but the series as well. This is the only Series 1928B note graded at this superior level by PMG. Near perfect margins combined with deep color and great centering have rightly enshrined this note in its prominent place as the finest known 1928B at either service. This note was graded when PMG first started out and is missing the EPQ suffix, which they would be happy to add if the note was sent in to them." At that time, this gorgeous note fetched $1,410 and should realize in that same range today.
