Description

Two Clipped Federal Vignettes. The Salmon Chase vignette is identical to that used on the 1862 Legals, but apparently it has been clipped from a bond, as the tips of the Treasury seal appear at the upper left in a position it would not have been on any Federal note. There is also a Lincoln vignette that is extremely similar to that used on the $100 Legals, but also apparently from a bond, as a portion of a large orange zero appears directly below Lincoln.
(Total: 2 vignettes)
