New Hampshire November 3, 1775 40s PMG Extremely Fine 40.A genuine example of this denomination, this note is quite rare. The two highest denominations of this issue (30s and 40s) are much more common as counterfeits than as genuine examples. This piece has seen very little circulation and would grade higher, but for some tape repairs and tears that are mentioned by PMG on the label. New Hampshire notes are the rarest of the original thirteen colonies.
