Fr. 288 $10 1880 Silver Certificate PMG Fine 12.The offering represents the scarcest of the three Friedberg numbers that make up the large brown seal with the brown "X" variety for this very popular early Silver Certificate type. A new addition to the mere 93 pieces reported for this number, this note has decent color and solid paper, although there is some staining at left.
