Western North Carolina Rail Road Company (North Carolina)A 1860 certificate in black on white for three shares. Justice holds a scale at left, while a period locomotive vignette is at top center and George Washington at right. Apparently a successful venture for at least some period, as the stock holder, D.C. Cochran, has signed on the verso to redeem his interest in the company. An embossed corporate seal with a central locomotive is at lower left. Very Fine.
