Cheyenne, WY - $5 1875 Fr. 407 The Stock Growers National Bank
Ch. # 2652 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.Notes from this bank represent the only First Charter examples that are available from Wyoming with any regularity, as offerings from this institution represent about 90% of the twenty or so non-Territorial pieces from all banks in the state combined. This 1875 $5 is an attractive note with good color and bold ink colors. PMG has mentioned a minor repair, but nothing is readily apparent.
