Fr. 96 $10 1869 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 66
PPQ.A broad margined Fr. 96 with ideal inks and premium paper quality. Only a half dozen or so Rainbow $10s have been graded finer than this well printed, well centered example. This is also a type that often comes with little or no originality. The PPQ designation, placed on the holder by PCGS Banknote, clearly indicates that this note has all its original paper characteristics. In our January 2022 auction, a PCGS Banknote 66PPQ brought $19,800.
