2269 PMG Very Fine 25.This note represents a very scarce type and denomination for Virginia as it is one of just sixteen 1875 $10s reported for all banks in the state. It is one of just two such pieces in the census for this Staunton bank, neither of which has ever appeared at public sale. It is an attractive mid-grade piece with nice color, bold pen signatures, and just even wear.
