New Berlin, NY - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 466 The First National Bank Ch. # 151 PMG Very Fine 25.This low charter number Chenango County issuer entered receivership in 1912, leaving a currently documented census of barely a dozen notes. This lovely $5 Brown Back is one of that number, and was last on the market in our May 1998 auction. It is a quite appealing piece with wide margins, nice color, and a great bank title layout.
