Belton, TX - $20 1902 Red Seal Fr. 641 The Peoples National Bank
Ch. # (S)8518 PMG Very Fine 20.Not the scarcest Bell County bank, with about ten large size known from this charter that opened in 1907, but this offering is the only reported Red Seal from this institution. Fortunately, for collectors, it is a nice one with plenty of eye appeal thanks to ample margins, a bold red overprint, and excellent penned signatures. PMG mentions pinholes, but they are of little consequence considering the uniqueness of this pretty Red Seal.
