Rare Belton Brown Back - One of Two Known

Belton, TX - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 467 The Belton National Bank Ch. # 3295 PMG Choice Fine 15.
This great Lone Star State rarity is one of just two pieces reported from this central Texas bank that was only in business from 1885 until 1904. Bearing the bold pen signatures of father and son, J.Z. Miller and J.Z. Miller, Jr., this evenly circulated note displays very nice color and problem-free wear. Two years ago, we auctioned the other known note from here, another $5 Brown Back in a PMG Fine 15 holder with mention of repairs, for $2,640.
