Very Rare Oregon Small Size $100 - One of Five Known
Portland, OR - $100 1929 Ty. 1 Peninsula National Bank Ch. #
10103 PMG Very Fine 30.A very scarce type and denomination which was issued by only two Oregon banks, both located in Portland. Just five examples are known from both banks combined, two from this institution and three from the Citizens NB of Portland. This offering is the only one of the pair reported from this bank that has ever appeared at public sale and that last occurrence was in our 2011 Central States auction. It is a crisp moderately circulated note with a low "binary" serial number of F000011A.
