Wetumka, Indian Territory - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 490 The
First National Bank Ch. # (W)5935 PMG Very Fine 25.A most attractive Territorial Brown Back, this is one of only five notes known from this rare Wetumka bank that issued large notes only before liquidating in March of 1929. It is one of just two Territorial notes reported from this charter - both $10 Brown Backs - and it is easily the finer of the pair. The only one of the two known Territorials to have made a public appearance since 2010, it features bright inks, vivid colors, and bold, two color pen signatures. PMG has noted what they call tape repairs, but they are not readily apparent through the holder of this rare and rather appealing Territorial note.
