Plano, TX - $10 1882 Date Back Fr. 545 The Farmers & Merchants National Bank Ch. # (S)5692 PMG Fine 12.A very scarce and seldom-offered Dallas-area bank with ten notes recorded in the census. Surprisingly, only one of the ten has been publicly offered in any venue since 2003. Chartered in 1901, this bank issued only Second Charter notes before liquidating in 1920. This well circulated but solid Date Back last crossed the auction block in 2003.
