Bank Ch. # 963 PMG About Uncirculated 55.The only Serial Number 1 small size $50s from the entire state of New York come from this bank's first sheet of Type 1 $50s, according to the National Currency Foundation census. As the only small size Number 1 $50s known from the Empire State, it makes this attractive note even that more desirable. This example from the "B" position of the sheet sports dark inks and solid embossing, with its only flaw being a small edge tear in the left margin.
