Natchez, MS - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 469 The First National Bank
Ch. # 3701 PMG Very Good 8.Well circulated with some minor repairs, this offering is still extremely rare as one of only two notes listed in the census from this short-lived Brown Backs only bank which was only in business from 1887 until 1895. Despite the amount of wear, this $5 still displays decent color and sharp pen signatures. It is one of fewer than 20 $5 Brown Backs reported for all Mississippi banks.
