Newly Reported Tucumcari Small Size
Tucumcari, NM - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. #
6288 PMG About Uncirculated 53.From a very rare New Mexico bank, this bright, well printed $10 is just the seventh small size to be reported from this charter that liquidated in 1934. It also becomes the finest graded Series 1929 note in the census. The note features original embossing and bold ink colors. PMG has mentioned a small internal tear which is not readily apparent through the holder. Four years ago, we auctioned a PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ example for $8,400. An envelope on The First National Bank of Tucumcari with a personal message handwritten on the front is included with this lot. (Total: 2 items)
