Very Rare Nevada 1902 $50 Date Back
Winnemucca, NV - $50 1902 Date Back Fr. 669 The First National
Bank Ch. # (P)3575 PMG Fine 12.This great Nevada note is one of just four 1902 $50 Date Backs reported for the entire state. It is one of just two such pieces in the census from this much collected charter and it is making its first public appearance since it was offered in a 2015 auction. It has solid paper for the grade with decent color, the bold pen signature of the bank's cashier, and no major distractions, save for some very minor rust specks seen solely on the back. By way of comparison, the other known $50 Date Back from this Humboldt County charter, in a PMG Choice Fine 15 holder, sold at auction two years ago for $16,100.
