New York, NY - $5 1875 Fr. 401 The National Citizens Bank Ch. # 1290 PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20 Details.A scarce early note, this is one of only three 1875 $5s reported from a large-only New York City bank that went through three titles before closing in 1920. Acquired by our consignor from Cleveland, Ohio dealer Harry Jones in 1997, it is bright, well printed example that does have some repairs and an ink stamp on the face, but it remains quite attractive for the grade.
