Watertown, NY - $10 1875 Fr. 420 The Watertown National Bank Ch. # 2657 PMG Very Fine 30.A bright and lovely First Charter ten which Dick obtained from Bill Donlon's May, 1971 sale of his Research & Personal Collection, where it was lot 470. Bill graded it as Extra Fine, which it certainly appears to be at a cursory glance, but PMG does note a small tape repair which Bill neglected to mention in his auction description. Interestingly, the note is listed as About Uncirculated in both the National Bank Note Census as well as in the Track & Price data.
