Description

Rare Caribou, Maine Small Size

Caribou, ME - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The Caribou National Bank Ch. # 6190 PMG Very Fine 20.
An excessively rare note from a bank that bears one of the most iconic town names to be found on a piece of National Currency from the state of Maine. It is one of just three small size reported from the sole issuer in this remote Maine location and the only one of that trio to have ever graced one of our auctions. Hailing from a bank that was closed by the receiver in 1934, this pleasing mid-grade $10 exhibits just honest wear.
