15.A very scarce and seldom-offered Dallas-area bank with nine notes recorded in the census, surprisingly, none have been publicly offered in any venue since 2003. Chartered in 1901, this bank issued only Second Charter notes before liquidating in 1920. This offering is a new entrant to that small group and is a pleasing mid-grade $20 Date Back with solid paper and attractive color. Tonight presents a nice opportunity for today's generation of Texas collectors to finally add this charter to their holdings.
