Valparaiso, IN - $20 1875 Fr. 435 The First National Bank Ch. #
2704 PMG Very Fine 20.One of fewer than a dozen pieces reported, this is a more than acceptable example of this scarce type and denomination. This Porter County bank issued 1875 $10s and $20s only between 1882 and the expiration of its charter in 1902. It faces up nicely with pleasing color and dark pen signatures. It does have some tape repairs and rust stains, but those flaws are confined primarily to the back.
