Description

Weymouth, MA - $5 1875 Fr. 404 The Union National Bank Ch. # 510 PMG Very Fine 20.
A new addition to the census of this scarce Suffolk County bank that closed its doors in 1904, this piece is just the twelfth note to be reported and the first First Charter Five. It features bold ink colors, dark signatures, and also has the distinction of having been printed from a replacement plate, as noted by the small star next to its left plate number.
