Mercer, PA - $10 1929 Ty. 2 The Farmers National Bank Ch. # 13846 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.A very rare western Pennsylvania bank is offered here. This institution opened its doors in November 1933 and released only a handful of Type 2 examples before the end of the note-issuing era in 1935. This bright, well margined $10 is easily of the finest of just three pieces reported from here and is the first note to cross the public auction block since 2011.
