Steele, ND - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 652 The First National Bank
Ch. # 8997 PMG Very Fine 25.This is one of only three large size reported from this one-bank location, which serves as the county seat of Kidder County. Last on the market in a 2008 auction, it is a bright mid-grade $20 with sharp ink colors and faint but legible signatures. PMG has mentioned a minor edge tear and a few trivial rust stains, but they are not at all distracting. In our recent FUN auction, we offered a $10 Plain Back, in a PMG Fine 15 holder, which realized $4,800.
