Description

Plaza, ND - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 627 The First National Bank Ch. # (W)9689 PMG Very Fine 20.
This moderately circulated example from a very rare North Dakota bank is one of just four large (along with five small) listed in the census. This bank, which was only in business from 1910 until its failure in 1931, was the sole issuer in this obscure community in northwestern North Dakota. It exhibits nice color and signatures, but does have some internal tears.
