Rarely Offered Arizona Type II $5
Tucson, AZ - $5 1929 Ty. 2 The Consolidated NB Ch. #
4287This is an easily overlooked type, but a quick look at the census shows just twelve Type 2 $5s known from all of the banks in the state combined. Just half of those have ever been offered at auction. This piece is not only a rare type, it also sports the best serial number of the survivors, A000003. Lovely and well margined with original embossing easily seen through the holder. PCGS Very Fine 35PPQ.
