Damariscotta, ME - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 652 The New Castle
National Bank Ch. # 953 PMG Very Fine 25.This offering is only the fifth large size to be reported from this very scarce Lincoln County bank and the only the second from the charter's second issuing location in Damariscotta. It is an evenly circulated and solid $20 Plain Back with nice color and dark pen signatures. The bank had just $1,720 in large-size outstanding at its close in June of 1933.
