Description
Bangor, ME - $10 Original Fr. 409a The Second National Bank Ch. # 306 PMG Fine 12.A very rare Bangor bank which issued large size only before liquidating in 1917. Just eight notes are reported from this charter including this offering which is the only First Charter example in the census. Crossing the auction block for the first time, this attractive Original Series $10 does have the typical New England trim but it's solid for the grade with pleasing color and bold pen signatures. A penned annotation is found on the back.
