Deming, NM - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 654 The Deming National
Bank Ch. # (W)6974 PMG Very Fine 20.A great New Mexico rarity, this is one of only four notes reported from this southern New Mexico bank that was closed by the receiver in 1924. Moreover, it is one of just three pieces known bearing this rare bank's first title and the only non-Territorial example in the census. Last on the market in a 2015 auction, it does have some staining, but otherwise has nice color and solid paper for the grade.
