Description

Gorgeous Bozeman, Montana Red Seal

Bozeman, MT - 1902 $10 Red Seal Fr. 613 The National Bank of Gallatin Valley at Bozeman Ch. #(W)7441 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
An absolutely beautiful Red Seal from this short-lived Montana bank, this is one of only four pieces in the census from here and the only Red Seal. And what a Red Seal it is - last on the market in a 2002 auction, this $10 has everything going for it - bright, white paper, vibrant color, bold pen signatures, and little evidence of circulation. In addition, it has a wonderful "tombstone style" bank title layout which certainly adds to its eye appeal. According to the National Currency Foundation census, it is one of just 14 Red Seals reported for all Montana banks and certainly one of the prettiest. This is a great Montana note fit for the finest of collections.
