Grand Meadow, MN - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 624 The First NB Ch. # (M)6933A downright rare southern Minnesota bank that was the sole issuer in this community before exiting the banking scene in 1930. Tonight's offering is just the sixth large size to be reported and the first piece of any kind to appear in one of our auctions. Fortuitously, it is a pleasing mid grade note with nary a problem save honest wear. The last specimen available from this charter, which bears a great town name, realized $4600 during the auction of the Melamed holdings in 2010. PMG Very Fine 20.
